I have a final tomorrow. WHO CARES is my new philosophy. The truth is I care... I care a bit tooooo much. Which got me thinking - are there things that I don't care about? So I made a list in my head.
1. Music theory
2. That Kony thing
3. Brad Pitt
4. Ecology (kinda sorta)
5. If facebook were to crash and burn tomorrow
It's actually a great stress reliever to think about the things you dont' care about!
Aaaaaand these are cool.

It's 1:32 am and I'm awake
This is pretty cool:
"This orca, nicknamed “Iceberg”, is part of a pod that is native to the North Pacific off the coast of Russia. Scientists don’t know if it’s a true albino, as the only other known white orca suffered from a deadly disease that made it lack pigment. This one seems healthy, and totally unique."

Commissioned by my Dad
Over the past school year, I've written two personal essays for two different applications.
My writing's never been better! I can brag about that because that was actually the true purpose in starting a blog... to better myself in expressing myself. If that makes sense? I still have a ways to go.
Anyway, I was talking about this very fact with my dad after he edited one of my drafts. He asked me if I was still writing in my blog.
And we all know the answer to that.
I told him I've been uninspired. Nothing to write about here. Nothing interests me here (except for science, I love science). That I hate it here.
So he told me to go write about it.
My first thought was that I didn't want my blog to become a venue where I ONLY rant about my first world problems and only complain about personal issues because honestly, I don't think it's classy.
I don't think I will fall into that trap. But I think I will start to clue the old blogger into some new struggles.
So this is a warning to all two or three of you readers out there (Hi Mom)... raw meat is on the menu and my cliches are only just warming up.

“We have landed on a world where the faint sun glints off methane lakes, seen stars the size of cities spin hundreds of times a second, and taken photographs of light from the beginning of time that has journeyed for over thirteen billion years to reach us. This is true wonder, with the power to deliver a dizzying feeling, the craving for which might be seen as the very definition of what it means to be human.”
