j-e-l-l-o, it's alive

Today I ran gel electrophoresis to test for primer dimers of my four new genes.

In simpler terms, I loaded samples of 4 different chunks of DNA into a gel (a bit more rigid than jello... not red, but clear) in order to validate their use in future experiments.

Cool cool cool huh?

Anyway, here's what I did for my 21st
1. Hiked
2. Got nails done
3. Got ears pierced
4. Ate delicious dinner w/ my family and Marina
5. Got AMAZING gifts from my family
6. Watched Korra with Layli

Twas a nice day.

WELL I have some moderately-big-news-but-not-really-because-it's-not-technically-news-news!
I could potentially graduate August 2013. As opposed to May 2014.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?????
QUEEEEEEE PASO???

I know, cuh-ray-zay right? Long story short... I made some accidental awesome decisions which put me on track to graduate early... even after taking a year off for the magic land of the Door of the Ecua.

HA HA now that's just ironic, no? I remember that one of the MAJOR reasons why I didn't want to do a year of service was that it would put me a year behind in school. HA HA weird.

It's not official yet. But I can say officially that soon it might maybe be official. Ya, idk what I just said either.

Unfortunately but kinda fortunately, this has unleashed my mind to imagine and dream and wonder of the possibilities of yet ANOTHER year of my life free and open to possibilites and love and life and experiences before I [hopefully] go to med school. (KEY WORD: HOPEFULLY... don't jinx me blog, geez).

1. Learn French. Idk how but IT WILL HAPPEN
2. Get out of AZ
3. Do something in a hospital. Or something medical related?
4. Make la mula.
5. SERVE (obvio)
6. IDK JUST HAVE A YEAR OF MY LIFE THAT ISN'T SPENT IN SCHOOL??????!!!!!!
